The announcement was written in bold letters across the front page of the Burlington Free Press. “Warrant issued in 1978 mystery.” It was the feature story on June 23rd, 2006, and years in the making.
For Juliana Woodworth, it was another layer of hope. Hope that the burning question, the one that kept her up most nights—the one that kept her checking in with state police month after month—the one that kept her detailing and recording every new development—it was hope that this question would finally be answered.
But for a devoted sister desperately waiting for closure, the closer she seemed to get, the more unanswered questions there were… And nearly forty years later, she’s still asking the same thing: What happened to Grace and Little Gracie Reapp?
